Harry’s Bar, James Street:
Just in time for Mother’s Day, Harry’s Bar James Street has launched its Picoli Dolci menu; an Italian take on traditional afternoon tea. With five miniature desserts, including a mini ‘Salted Caramel Tiramisu,’ it will be served with a choice of tea or a glass of bubbles, the perfect Mother’s Day treat!
Price: £18 with a pot of tea / £21 with a glass of bubbles
Spring is treating each mother to a complimentary Rose Petal Bellini, topped with a candied rose petal alongside their normal A La Carte menu. Open for lunch from 12:00pm – 2:30pm, their light and airy dining room is the perfect spot for an intimate family meal.

Art Yard have partnered up with local florist, Phlox Flowers, so that each lucky mum dining at the restaurant will be treated to a stunning bouquet of flowers as well as a glass of Hambledon sparkling wine. That’s not all, they will also receive some exquisite chocolate truffles to take home and kids will also get to eat for free.

Treat your mother to a specially curated seasonal Sunday set menu from Head Chef Louis Lingwood at Paddington’s Cleveland Arms. Enjoy Pork Rillettes or Salt Cod Croquettes & Aioli to start, followed by Roast Chicken & Wild Garlic with Roast Potatoes, Savoy Cabbage, Yorkshire Pudding & Gravy and an Apple, Rhubarb & Ginger Crumble for dessert.
The Talbot, Malton:
Up in North Yorkshire’s Malton, mothers can enjoy a bespoke Sunday roast with all the trimmings, at the beautifully refurbished hotel The Talbot. Mums will also receive a free botanical skincare gift by 100 Acres to take home.
A Mother’s Day workshop special over at revolving creative hub Carousel features Calligraphy for the New & Curious. Guests will spend the morning learning modern calligraphy with stationery queen Alice Gabb, who will equip them with the skills to graduate from basic nib knowledge to writing their own name in Alice’s beautiful take on Modern Calligraphy. For an additional £20 guests can enjoy a seasonal lunch from Head Chef Ollie Templeton.
