Caravan have launched a plant-based pizza featuring ‘Roasted Cauliflower, Broccoli, Harissa, Squash and Hazelnut Sesame Dukkah’ (£10).
Wahaca will be cooking up ‘Poblano Pepper Tacos with Caramelised Onions, Corn & Cashew Nut Mole’ (£4.45) and ‘Chargrilled Crown Prince Squash’(£5.25) as part of their permanent vegan menu.
Whilst all the dishes at Wild Food Cafe’s new Islington restaurant are vegan, stand out dishes include the ‘Creamy Wild Mushroom Pizza; Almond & Shiitake Base, Marinated and Dehydrated Mushrooms, Macadamia Ricotta, Pine Nut Parmesan & Truffle Oil’ (£14.5) and ‘Double Chocolate Cake with Coffee Sponge and Vanilla Ice Cream’
Stevie Parle’s Craft will be running a vegan edition of their ‘Test Kitchen Tuesday’ on the 8th January. For £28, guests can enjoy six dishes currently in the development stages, including ‘Sand Carrot Espuma, Carrot Leaf, Toasted Oats’ and ‘Rapeseed Oil Cake, Dill Sorbet, Smoked Rapeseed Oil’.
The newly opened Pachamama East will be doing vegan Peruvian style, with dishes including ‘Miso-cured Carrot, Black Quinoa, Peruvian Kimchi’ (£10.50) and ‘Smoked Mushroom Ceviche, Maiz, Smoked Olive Oil’ (£9.5)
Southern French focused Sardine will be serving up a La Grande Bouffe vegan special (£38), featuring dishes such as ‘Fried Artichokes, Monk’s Beard & Tapenade’ and ‘Pineapple à la Ficelle, Almond & Coconut Sorbet, Rum Caramel Sauce’.
