Recipe for Success: 14 Hills welcomes founders of Sheerluxe, Rixo and Boom Cycle for International Women’s Day 2020
On Tuesday 10th March, 14 Hills, D&D London’s newest sky-high restaurant and bar on Fenchurch Street, will hold ‘Recipe for Success’ – a breakfast event heroing strong female voices, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
Hosting the event will be Georgie Coleridge-Cole, entrepreneur and Founder of Sheerluxe – one of the UK’s leading lifestyle publications. Georgie will be joined by British designer and co-founder of fashion label Rixo – Henrietta Rix and spinning studio, Boom Cycle co-founder, Hilary Rowland. The women will gather to share their successes, failures, advice and stories on how they got to where they are today. Topics will cover what it means to be a woman in business today; the rise of women in the country’s top positions; correlations between sports, business and fashion; and why it is more important than ever for young girls to see notable and vocal women as inspirational role models.
Tickets to Recipe for Success also include breakfast on the day created by Head Chef, Thomas Piat. Guests can enjoy breakfast dishes including coconut yoghurt and berry compote pots, smoked salmon bagels, a fresh fruit platter, a selection of breakfast muffins and pastries, as well as a juice bar offering spinach and kale, apple and orange juice alongside tea and coffee.
With 14 Hills located in the heart of the Square Mile, where traditionally male-dominated corporations have existed for decades, this event aims to shine a light on the ambition of London’s business and entrepreneurial women. According to a study TimeOut conducted in 2018, the average working woman in London earns around 28% less than the average man. To counteract that statistic, all guests attending the Recipe for Success event will be offered 28% off their bill when they return to dine at 14 Hills within the month of March.
The Recipe for Success event will take place on Tuesday 10th March from 8am-9.30am at 14 Hills.
Tickets are priced at £35 and can be bought via this link: https://shop.danddlondon.com/product/recipeforsuccess/
